SDAIE Instructor Self-Check

This tool helps teachers reflect on the extent to which they use SDAIE (Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English) -- strategies appropriate for English Learners.The checklist should be filled out by individual teachers to indicate how often they use the listed features.  Then, take some time to reflect on these features with a peer, in grade-level or departmental meetings, or with an administrator.
